Pink Pearl is not completely bad but she's getting there. She is the only child born to the mayor of BlueTown and his wife, Prudence and whilst she has been cossetted and pampered all her life, being the daughter of BlueTown's most powerful gruesome twosome hasn't come without its price. Pink Pearl recognizes the importance of being number one - it has been drummed into her enough times - and because of this she doesn't mind trampling over others to get what she wants. 

Pearl is currently BlueTown's reigning beauty queen but "local beauty queen" doesn't quite have the same ring to it as "movie star" or "pop star". Pearl wants more. 

The only problem is that she has very little talent - and she knows it. Thus begins Pearl's obsessive pursuit of stardom and obsessive jealousy of BlueGirl. She will go to any lengths to stop BlueGirl becoming a star before she does.
