Dina lives in the shadow of her more volatile, dominant sister, Ruby. She is shy and timid and longs to meet the man of her dreams but the co-dependant relationship she shares with her sister has made it impossible to form  relationships with other people. Dina bottles up all her romantic desires and settles for the love she finds in books and t.v shows.

Dina is a highly nervous woman and suffers from Hyperhidrosis - or in layman's terms - excessive sweating. The fact that she works closely with her sister at the town hall only makes her condition worse. At home Dina is constantly nagged at by Ruby, however if pushed too far Dina will stand up to her sister which always leads to comical Tom and Jerry type fights involving pots, pans and other household appliances.

Dina is a kind and gentle person with great generosity of spirit and despite her own sadness, she likes to see people happy and this extends to BlueGirl who she knows gets a hard time from Ruby.
